8-14. Ibalong Festival. Legazpi City, Albay. A tribute to Bicol Region’s epic tale of superheroes and villains with native songs and dances in a grand street presentation.
10-12. Zamboanga Hermosa. Zamboanga City . Festivities include parades, agricultural fair, flower shows, and the highlight for many: the vinta regatta.
12. La Naval de Manila. Sto Domingo Church, Quezon City. A procession of the image of Our Lady of the Rosary commemorates the 1646 victory over Dutch pirates in Manila Bay.
15-25. Kasanggayahan Festival. Sorsogon. Culminates on the last day with a parade, folkdances, and a musical dance drama. Events prior to the day of the parade include a show featuring local fabrics and designs and a folk dance presentation.
15-21. Pamugu-an Festival. Mindoro. A festive reunion of different Mangyan tribes.
16-17. Sagingan Festival. Tubod, Lanao del Norte. Celebration of thanksgiving in honor of the saging (banana), people wear banana costumes as they parade and dance through the streets.
18-22. Lanzones Festival. Camiguin. The island’s favorite fruit becomes the object of adoration as the streets of Mambajao become a colorful, lively stage as the Camiguinons strut their stuff, dressed in the costumes of the Mindanao tribes, and carrying bunches of sweet, sumptuous lanzones.
20. Leyte Gulf Landings. Dulag and Palo, Leyte. Commemorating the day General Douglas MacArthur landed on the shore of Palo, Leyte.
22-24. Catandungan Festival. Virac, Catanduanes. Catanduanes celebrates its foundation day anniversary with a pageant, trade fairs, sportsfests, and a wild and wacky Pantomina streetdancing parade.

1 & 2. All Saints Day & All Souls Day. Nationwide.
Candlelight processions. People visit the cemeteries to honor the departed. Many
hold a 24-hour vigil.
9-11. Helobong Festival. Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. The T’Boli in its colorful best through the natives’ traditional songs, dances and crafts.
18. Baguio Arts Festival. The region’s artists come together and display their work.
21. Kalimudan Festival. Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. A tribal fiesta with major ethnic groups displaying traditional songs and dances.
22-23. Higantes Festival. Angono, Rizal. Known for its artists, this town’s fiesta is highlighted by a grand procession of impressive 10-feet high papier mache puppets.
30. Bonifacio Day. This holiday commemorates the birth in 1863 of Andres Bonifacio, leader of the Philippine revolt against Spain in 1896.
